This was a collaborative exercise in updating the Van Heusen Menswear line. 

 

Iconography

Designing a succinct icon system for the brand helped to make the packaging structure simple and flexible. New items can be added to the line without changing the design system, and folded items are easily identified, along with size and quantity information.

 

PACKAGING & BRANDING

We aimed to simplify the packaging and highlight the American-designed products. Reducing material, we emphasized that a gentleman could “dress with effortless class and eco-responsibility.” The construction of each product's packaging was sourced from a single piece of FSC certified recycled material, and is 100% recyclable. Limiting plastic, each garment can be touched and tested before purchase.
